Building Emotional Understanding in Spanish

This class is for caregivers and parents who want to build emotional understanding with their children from toddlers through school age. The essential tools of the Parenting by Connection approach are taught in this class. Researchers have called these skills the “super-protective factor” which leads to positive adolescent outcomes and happy productive lives for children.
We will examine the principles and practices of Parenting by Connection, and will build personal support for the important work of parenting within our families and our communities. Each class participant will be encouraged to use "Listening Tools" on a regular basis between classes, and experiences will be shared, creating a broad experience base for learning and mutual support.
