2009 National Instructor Certification Program Applications are Due February 1st

This year-long training program is designed for those who would like to foster the wellbeing of families by teaching Hand in Hand classes, giving related parent education talks, or running parent or caregiver support groups.

We are looking for people with the skills and experience to teach, support and mentor parents and child care professionals as they learn Parenting by Connection. Due to the high level of interest in this year’s program, we plan to hold a distance learning program along with two local training sessions, one in the North Bay and one in the South Bay. Even so, there still may not be room for all the highly qualified candidates we would like to accept. We hope to continue to increase the size of the program in 2010 to allow us to train all the qualified candidates who apply.

If you are a parent or caregiver interested in deepening your personal Parenting by Connection skills and understanding, but not interested in teaching others at this time, please apply instead to our 2009 Parenting by Connection Intensive.
