With workshop tracks for both parents and instructors, the Annual Retreat is the place for Parenting by Connection practice and renewal. Come work, play and build community with us.

We'll be staying at the Ben Lomond Quaker Center in the beautiful, peaceful redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Meals will once again be provided by a local chef--if you've tasted Tod's food, you'll remember him for sure.

A note for those of you who are flying to the retreat: The retreat center can be most easily reached from San Jose International Airport, which is about 36 miles away from the retreat center.  Alternatively, you could fly into San Francisco International Airport or Oakland International Airport, but these are farther away.  Hand in Hand will attempt to arrange carpools for those participants flying to the retreat, but we cannot guarantee local transportation.  Please allow ample time in your flight schedules to arrive by Friday evening.

Payment for the annual retreat is on a sliding scale. Please pay on the higher end of the scale to allow us to offer scholarships to parents in need.
