2010 Parenting by Connection Intensive for Parents and Caregivers Program
Are you interested in deepening your Parenting by Connection understanding and skills for use in your personal life or professional role? This twelve-week program will support you in your practice of the approach while helping you to explore issues that can get in the way of the warm and relaxed relationships we all hope for.
Both parents and caregivers are welcome. Participants will spend several hours practicing new skills with the children in their lives each week.
Distance learners will view videos of the Palo Alto class at their leisure (high-speed internet connection required), and will participate fully via 90-minute conference calls every other week, for both mentoring and support. Times of those calls will be arranged, as fully as possible, to fit participants' schedules.
Participants are required to try a Listening Partnership with someone of their choosing, and will do at least an hour of Special Time with their child or children each week.
