Hey dads, have you noticed your enthusiasm for play diminishing this past year with the stress of the pandemic? Do you secretly hate the games your child likes to play? Does your child’s continued risky or aggressive play leave you feeling worried or angry? Are you and your parenting partner in conflict about whether or not it’s a good idea to set limits playfully? Would you like some fresh ideas about how to use play to help your child with a persistent behavioral challenge?
Whatever your relationship is to play these days, we are here to give you some extra support. Please join us for this third in our series of free Zoom events for fathers. At this Dads Connect, we will discuss the many benefits and challenges of play, answer your questions, and share some helpful tips on playing with your children from Hand in Hand. You won’t want to miss this one!
This event will be facilitated by Hand in Hand Parenting instructor Blake Adams along with other male Hand in Hand instructors and instructor candidates. We welcome fathers, step-fathers, foster fathers, grandfathers and all who identify as fathers. No previous experience with Hand in Hand Parenting is necessary.
