Parents Raising Neurodivergent Children of Color – A Virtual Drop-in Monthly Listening Circle for Parents Around the World with Priya Saaral
Third Thursday of Every Month, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM US Pacific, 2:00 PM US Eastern, 7:00 PM UK
$55 per parent per sessionDo you wish for support around growing in and un-learning ways of parenting to meet the needs of your child/ren better?
If you found yourself nodding all the way, then this listening circle is for you! Parenting your child with multiple differences in a world not built to affirm and celebrate them is a painful and isolating journey. You find yourself tasked with an impossible ask – to raise your child in a way that celebrates them and preserves their dignity, self-worth and spirit, while the world strips them of these very things.
Contrary to what you may have been told, you don’t have to do this alone. Tending to your spirit and finding strength in community may be one of the most important things you can do to support your beautiful child. So come join us.
Priya is a first generation South Asian neurodivergent mother raising her own neurodivergent teenager who lives, works and plays on Duwamish lands (Seattle, USA). She is a child therapist, a parenting consultant and a co-author of the book ‘Parenting at the Intersections: Raising Neurodivergent Children of color’. This group will be facilitated in English.
