Emilie was so grateful to have Hand in Hand Parenting’s Listening Tools to help her family adjust to welcoming a new baby when her older son was four. Regular Special Time was vital to giving her older son the extra connection he deserved and needed as he got used to being a big brother. Using the Listening Tools regularly has helped strengthen the connection between her two boys, and the connection she has with both of them as well. The Listening Tools have supported her family through other big challenges, too; such as the start of kindergarten and bouts of separation anxiety.
Emilie has over fifteen years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings. She is a former classroom teacher and has a Master of Arts in Special Education. In addition to teaching Hand in Hand Parenting, Emilie currently works as an Educational Specialist and a Postpartum Doula. She utilizes the Hand in Hand tools whenever she is working with children.
Emilie lives in Half Moon Bay, CA with her family and can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
