Meagan is the mother of a 6 year old son and has been using the Parenting by Connection tools with him since he was 9 months old. She completed her instructor training in 2009 and enjoys connecting with parents through individual consultations, support groups, talks and listening circles. Meagan is passionate about children’s emotional well-being and believes that supporting parents to discuss the difficult aspects of parenting and to uncover and clear the emotional blockages and past hurts they have experienced unlocks opportunities for laughter and connection with children that will build their resilience and sense of self. Meagan holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree and has been providing counselling and support to young people and families around a broad range of issues over the last 16 years.
Meagan says “I love that the 5 tools in Parenting by Connection can be used in combination to work through any challenge or issue that comes up in family life. The focus on connection, through listening, laughing and playing is a truly transformational way to approach difficulties, and it always works. I love working with families to find their way back to connection.”
