Hello, my name is Roos,
I live in Utrecht with my nine-year-old daughter, Jasmine. I’m an experienced coach, and I work for an Academy in professional and adult education as an advisor in Coaching and Personal Leadership.
When my daughter was two, I joined my first Hand in Hand Parenting group, this was such a relief! I didn’t want to parent the way I was parented. I had to find a better way. To be able to raise my daughter with deep connection, with clear boundaries, and with the confidence given by the science and my own experience backing up the Listening Tools is priceless! I’ve been using the Tools for over seven years now.
You might find it interesting to know that I’ve worked and lived for many years in various meditation and retreat centers in Europe and India. I’ve had a deep dive into practices such as meditation, mindfulness, yoga, inquiry, and others from the age of twenty-five. This has given me a very positive outlook on life, a sharp discernment of what serves true happiness, and a big trust in anyone’s ability to grow.
