Ruxandra Vasile

In limba romana

My name is Ruxandra Vasile and I am a Hand in Hand Parenting Instructor living in Bucharest, Romania.

I am a mom of 3 amazing, smart and loving children, 2 boys and a girl, all within 5 years of age.

Before becoming a parent I was pursuing a career in Information Technology and I was a successful and enthusiastic IT Manager. While I was pregnant with my first child I studied and then obtained a Master of Business Administration degree.

Parenthood proved to be for me and my husband a road full of love and fears, hopes and doubts, incredible times and dark moments.
I discovered Hand in Hand Parenting when my oldest kid was a little over two years old.
This moment proved to be crucial for me and my family as it meant finding answers to a lot of questions and doubts. I found Hand in Hand to be the parenting approach which deeply resonated with my inner beliefs and values, and supported me in my goal to become the best parent I can be for my children.

Centered on connection rather than behavioral control, with the core belief that parents and children are good, Hand in Hand Parenting offers a deep understanding of emotions and triggers, and with its set of practical tools helped us find solutions to day to day challenges and build loving and harmonious relationships in our family.

That is how I came to learn about Attachment Theory and that part of neuroscience which explains how the human brains function at maximum capacity only when we feel safe and connected.

The journey I made to getting to know myself and heal old wounds led me to become a more present, mindful and connected parent but also taught me to pay attention and take care of my own needs.
That is why I decided to become a Hand in Hand Parenting Instructor and reach more parents, grandparents and educators and help them pave the way to joyful, deeply rewarding and healthy relationships with the children in their care.
